Are You Prepared for Mobile Visitors to Your Website?

I’m confident that more and more of your clients will come to you via their cell phones. My divorce site is increasingly visited by users on smartphones. That’s true of every website, not just mine.

Are you getting mobile visitors? If so, are they having a positive user experience? It’s time for you to figure out what’s happening with those visitors coming to your site on their phones. You can’t ignore them as their numbers increase. It’s time to start paying attention.

One place to start is PercentMobile. They’re a free, mobile web analytics service. They offer a hosted service that will tell everything you need to know about your mobile visitors. They provide the analytics you need to take action to provide a better user experience for your prospective clients.

Setting up an account is easy. You start by requesting a beta invite. They’ll get back to you with a code pretty quickly. Once you register, simply install a snippet of code on your site and you’re up and running. There’s no software to install. The service is entirely hosted. PercentMobile is free for now. They’ll eventually offer some premium services for a fee.

It’s valuable for you to start tracking your mobile visitors. If you don’t have any (doubtful) you don’t need to work on your mobile site. If you’ve got a considerable number then it’s time to focus on what those users are doing on your site and making sure they’re getting the information they need. Getting analytics from PercentMobile is the first step you should take as the web shifts to mobile devices.

Lee, thank you for all you do to help your fellow matrimonial lawyers!

Re Mobile users logging in to one’s website, are their any companies that convert your traditional website so that mobile users can read and navigate easier, and if so, what type of prices are we talking about for a 10 or 15 page website???

That’s something that any website vendor should easily be able to do and it shouldn’t be very expensive.

      Good luck.
