It’s pretty rare that I’m impressed by the marketing of a family law practice. Most of what I stumble across is copied from somewhere else and, sadly, there really isn’t much original thinking. But I have to say I’m impressed by Steven A. Leitman of Neptune Beach, Florida serving the Jacksonville area.
Steven has built a divorce toolbar for your browser. The toolbar does things that are valuable to a family law practitioner. It has calculators (loans, child support, dates), timers, a real estate comps checker, a PDF maker and links to a bunch of Florida divorce law resources. It even has a “Magic 8 Ball”. The toolbar is targeted toward divorce lawyers and is clearly intended to keep Mr. Leitman at the top of your mind (or the top of your browser) when you need to make a referral near Jacksonville.
Building a toolbar isn’t rocket science (there are several easy to use toolbar builders) but coming up with a good marketing application for a toolbar is genius. My hat is off to Mr. Leitman. We don’t see enough marketing creativity in our field. Mr. Leitman is one to lawyer worth watching.
