Last week I met with a lawyer who, like most of us, is on email overload. He asks opposing counsel and clients to email him and to copy his paralegal so that he can be sure that someone responds. Sometimes they both respond, sometimes neither of them respond. The day after our conversation I came across a start-up company that aims to solve the problem.
Supportism provides for email to be funneled to a common box that is accessed via a web interface. Their product keeps up with whether a response has been sent and allows users to communicate with one another when they aren’t sure exactly how to respond. I’m thinking about using the service to deal with the “general email box” we use for inquiries from our website.
The company provides a free trial for three users. Might be worth a try.
